WELCOME to the Town of Orchard City in the heart of beautiful Delta County in Western Colorado!  There are so many things to do and see in and around the area.

With just a short drive north of Orchard City on Highway 65, you will feel like you are on top of the world on the Grand Mesa.  At an elevation 10,500 this is one of the world's largest flat top mountains.  Grand Mesa National Forest holds over 300 lakes and is home to hundreds of species of wildlife. You can enjoy such activities as downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling in the winter, deer and elk hunting in the fall,  and hiking, fishing, and camping in the summer.  There are many trails for riding mountain bikes and ATV's. The Grand Mesa Scenic Byway organization hosts "Color Sunday" in the fall for all to experience the beauty of the changing Aspens and Oak brush.

Delta County also plays host to a wide variety of festivals throughout the year from Applefest to Cherry Days, from rodeos to the Council Tree Pow Wow.
